We look forward to our annual Homecoming Service tomorrow morning (October 25)! Rev. Roger Dempsey, pastor of Harvestime Free Will Baptist Church in Sunbury, Ohio will be providing the preaching, and the Van Syoc’s will be providing special singing. We expect a great time of food and fellowship following the service, but most of all, a great day spent worshipping our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with family and friends…hope to see you there!

Pastor Alan Barnes will be preaching his last Sunday, October 11, 2009.  Pastor Alan has served Columbus First since 1999.  A special carry-in-lunch will be held in his honor following the morning worship service.  All are invited.

Rev. Thacker is home from Riverside Hospital now.  Please continue to pray for Rev. Thacker’s full recovery.

The Columbus First Homecoming Service will be on Sunday, October 25, 2009 at 10:45 AM with Rev. Rodger Dempsey bringing the message.  Special music will lead the way and a great carry-in lunch to follow.  Please spread the word and join us.

Rev. Tim McKnight was elected new Pastor of Columbus First on Sunday, September 20, 2009 by unanimous vote of the membership.  Rev. McKnight will take office on Sunday, October 18, 2009.  More information and profile to follow.

After ten years as Pastor of Columbus First, Pastor Alan Barnes announced his resignation effective March 31, 2009 for personal reasons.  He has and will continue to stay on until the new Pastor takes office Sunday, October 18, 2009.  Please pray for Columbus First during this transition.
